Moab in November

Decided to spend 3 days in Moab just prior to Thanksgiving. My priority was for photography, and it was a great time to visit without lots of people around. In fact, none where I was photographing. Already winterized, I chose a campground with hookups to use electricity. Alde was exceptional to quietly keep the temps nice and cozy as night temps reached mid 20s. A great, peaceful time spent outside before sunrises and well after sunset. Along Colorado River heading into Moab. Sunrise inside Arches National ParkSunrise Green River OverlookSunset Castle Valley

    I think your middle picture is of the 2 formations that look like pistols pointed up in the air like this one.

    Moab, Jeep, Trailer living, sunshine, ahhhhhh.  If you spent a thousand hours in Illustrator, you'd not be able to come up with a better graphics package than the reflection on your trailer.

    Nice! I had 2 largely cloudless trips this year. You had some nice weather for shooting.

    Thank you for all the compliments. Portrait photography has been my life’s career, but now I am pursuing landscape photography purely for myself and for the opportunities to be outside on nature. In the future I look forward to boondocking more with my T@B, and getting away from it all.
