I've been on the Yahoo and FB groups for a number of years but decided that I needed to check out the great folks on the LG forums. My daughter and I have a 2004 T@B T2 and just purchased at 2009 T@DA as well. I'm in the middle of fixing up the old one to sell this spring. It's been interesting to follow the T@b from Europe to Dutchmen and now LG. We are a unique group of enthusiasts, that's for sure.
Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

Rad - That's the spare tire bracket that's giving you the wrong impression.

The one thing I now do differently than the second pic is clamp right around the visor rod rather than to the hanging strap. I hang a small light stick from each of those. Clamping to the rod is a lot more solid. Clamping to the strap still has too much give and in wind stretches the nylon.
Thank you. One picture I saw almost looked like you were using tent poles. Now I understand.

it kept everything in place through 35 mph winds and that sandstorm. Took it down when it started gusting to 45. gusts like that are a problem, they whip the thing around too much even with my system. I had the rod come apart at one of the joints once (that's not a pretty sight) in heavy gusts.
