I've been on the Yahoo and FB groups for a number of years but decided that I needed to check out the great folks on the LG forums. My daughter and I have a 2004 T@B T2 and just purchased at 2009 T@DA as well. I'm in the middle of fixing up the old one to sell this spring. It's been interesting to follow the T@b from Europe to Dutchmen and now LG. We are a unique group of enthusiasts, that's for sure.
Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

I find this forum much more enjoyable, responsive and easier to follow - Since you've been on the others, let us know what you think.

Hello fellow Colorodans! Greetings from Denver! Welcome to the forum. I've been on here for about a year now, and I have to say, it's a great group of folks. Very helpful.

Hey, Theresa
I am rarely on the Yahoo forum anymore. It's too difficult to navigate after they changed the format. However, the files are a fountain of information and that's where I would go if having an issue. I find FB an easier way to communicate, but pop in here from time to time too. I have a DM T@B so not really a member of the LG family. Greetings again from Durango! Attached pic is from last night outside of Mancos...loved it...everything worked great after waking her up from a 6 month sleep...

How strange! I have not looked close enough under my T@B, but I'm fairly certain mine is a boyDurangoTaB said:...everything worked great after waking her up from a 6 month sleep...

DurangoTaB - I see you clamp right onto the awning rod there in the center. I do the same but on the two sides where the normal ties are. I ditched the factory ties and strap straight down. Anchors the thing much better.
Rad - That's the spare tire bracket that's giving you the wrong impression. -
OK, what are you guys using to anchor the visor to the ground? I've not seen that, DurangoTaB. And, PXLated, I thought you were using a couple of poles. Curious! ThanksVerna, Columbus, IN

Verna - There's a thread with pictures of what I'm doing - will try to find it. With the standard way, it just couldn't handle a brisk breeze in my experience.

We often have stiff April winds here in the Four Corners, so I got an awning clamp at our RV store and tied it down to a stake. I like the "poles" method I've seen on the Forum, but this was our first use of the visor and haven't settled on a best solution...

Verna - Here's that thread with my pics...

The one thing I now do differently than the second pic is clamp right around the visor rod rather than to the hanging strap. I hang a small light stick from each of those. Clamping to the rod is a lot more solid. Clamping to the strap still has too much give and in wind stretches the nylon. -

Thank you. One picture I saw almost looked like you were using tent poles. Now I understand.Verna, Columbus, IN

The clamps come as a four set at Walmart in the camping/tent area and the straps are also Walmart in the tarps and tie downs area (automotive I think. Probably spet a whole ten bucks.
it kept everything in place through 35 mph winds and that sandstorm. Took it down when it started gusting to 45. gusts like that are a problem, they whip the thing around too much even with my system. I had the rod come apart at one of the joints once (that's not a pretty sight) in heavy gusts. -
Welcome, Theresa! It's nice to have another T@DA owner on board. Hope you are loving it!Lisa. 2008 T@DA, previously 2012 6x10 SS. Southeastern PA
