Hi! My Tab is still winterized. I want to go "dry" camping this weekend before I get it summarized. I know that the Alde heater uses hot water...so...can I use my heater?
Yes, you can. It doesn't use hot water for heating the cabin it uses glycol in a separate fluid heating system. You can still use it for heating without water in the hot water lines.

Winterized seems to have several definitions around the forum. It may or may not include antifreeze in the fresh water tank and plumbing lines and it may or may not have antifreeze in the Alde hot water tank. Probably most members do not add antifreeze to the Alde hot water tank, but if you or your dealer did, make sure it can withstand the heat from the Alde. Otherwise, if the hot water tank is empty you are free to heat the cabin with your Alde.
