Hello, I have a 2010 Dutchman Tab. It has been a bit of a challenge/frustration stepping over a BBQ (with a top oven), two large folding chairs, and a reclining chair as they were stored on the floor of the tab. However, I did finally got around to building a front 'carrier' for the gear and the propane and battery. It is not complete but getting very close. Cheers! Doug

After two battery thefts (and a few more attempts) I build a rather strong box for the battery. It bolts in the centre of the front box.

@SpiritBear, wouldn't it have been easier to wire your t@b with 480 to ground? The theft thing would surely resolve itself then.

The tongue weight (with everything in) is now 240 lbs. It pulled very well on the test last week. The boxes are 16 gauge aluminum and the total weight 24 kg's - about 52 lbs.

The batteries... Apparently these characters go around stealing RV batteries during the summer. They sell them to scrap dealers for $10/battery. From what the police are saying it is driven by the crystal meth situation. The trailer sits behind my house in the lane. A $350 deep cycle AGM 140 Ah battery stolen so someone can get $10 for it to feed a drug habit. Very Sad on many levels!!
