Pahaque clamshell galley tent

We have a 2017 T@B CS S and have been using an REI alcove for rain shelter off our kitchen. After our recent month-long trip to the Carolinas, we’re looking to take the plunge and buy the Pahaque tent designed for the clamshell. I’d like to have feedback from those you who have used this tent; fit, effectiveness, ease of set up, etc. Is it worth the money? Thanks! May you camp in sunshine...
(Edited title as Pahaque also has a clamshell side tent. Sharon)

it works pretty well. The one thing to be careful of is the wind when your not there. Storm came in while we were gone and big wind ripped off the keder rail

We don’t have the Pahaque galley tent, rather we have used the King Camp/Hasika/Laputa canopy and we are very happy with the ease and versatility of the canopy. You can use it with poles

or you can just secure it to the ground. (Thanks Robert Fuss!)
We have some walls from another canopy that we can attach if the weather was really inclimate. Very light weight, inexpensive, fast, easy and does the job. We have a camp kitchen that we stow under it at night - keeps it clean and dry.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio -
Thanks for the responses and photos!

I don't have personal experience with it, but a fellow T@B friend had one, and found it to be completely useless. Even with the screens, it was hot in there. There was rain the last week she used it and the top poles collapsed in instead of letting the water roll off. The sticky keder rail wouldn't stick. She threw the whole thing in the garbage. Also, if you are in a sloped site and your "tail end" is higher up, the bottom skirt won't reach well.Carol
