Run AC with visor?

is it ok to run my AC with my visor on the vent side? Looks ok but not sure. (See photo)

IMO the visor would trap heat and probably interfere with the air changes making the AC less efficient.   Lots of folks add air deflectors to help the AC work better. 

Beyond that shouldn't hurt anything.

What is an air deflector? Where are they sold?
