Sticky Lagun Table

Has anyone ever had a problem with their Lagun table getting stuck?  If so, what did you do?  The pedestal on mine gets stuck sliding on to both the interior and exterior mounts. It won’t slide down more than a few inches. The handle is loose.  I tried cleaning out the grooves.  Does it need to lubricated with something.

I suppose it is possible that they did not cut the groove wide enough to allow it to drop all the way - especially since you are having problems with both the inside and outside mounts.  I would see if you can get a replacement pedestal.  You can try lubricating it with a silicone spray.

Maybe a dry silicone spray or a powdered graphite lubricant like they recommend for the windows (or was it the screen door track?).

I tried graphite (because I happened to have some).  A little improvement, but still sticky.  I’ll try the silicone spray next.  Thanks for the suggestions!

I believe 3M, WD40, and 3-In-One all make a dry lube type of silicone spray.  3-In-One labels one as an RV window track lubricant.  Search on "silicone dry lube".
