Surge Protector Suggestions

Just bought my first TaB and have been reading about the need for a surge protector.  What brands are you folks using?

We chose the progressive industries hw30c, I hard wired it in. I did not want to deal with a portable one. Keep in mind this model is not only a surge protector but also an electrical protector. I felt it was a cheap insurance policy to protect valuable electronics in our new TAB.

@wooper, I did the same as @Zeckmm n (and for the same reasons.)  There are discussion threads on this site about hooking one up:

However, if you prefer, this is the Progressive Industries portable surge protector, which very easily connects between your T@B 30 amp power cord and the campground electrical pedestal outlet:

I have this one. It seems to work fine, but I'm not an electrician! I fastened it to the pole with a bicycle lock. Well, my link isn't pasting, but it's a progressive industries 30 amp surge protector that sells on Amazon for around $95.
