Although I don’t expect to rely on using the A/C in my T@B, I decided to test the Yahama EF2000iS I already have for capability (just to know). It’s not quite 90 degrees out with the T@B parked in the sun since early morning. I started the generator, put it in economy mode, plugged the T@B into the generator, and then turned the A/C on set to 65 degrees. The generator cranked up for a few seconds and settled back, but not quite to the earlier quietest level. As expected, the initial load was greatest, and the generator proved capable.

So even though I surmise tha a 1000 might do, it may not for other things.
Has something to do with the amps apparently. Here in Australia two 1kva or two 2kva generators can be linked.
