Does anyone have pictures/video of the setup of PahaQue awning? The keeder rail and tent pole part is simple, don't understand where the straps & tie downs go?
I don't have a photo handy, but the two straps are what hold the awning up and away from the camper. They need to be stacked out tightly in front of the awning. They do create a bit of trip hazard but I was surprised how quickly I learned to avoid them. It's really a pretty simple and functional system.
Usually, once we get the pole thru the awning, we grab the center rope and stretch it away the camper, keeping it centered. Now just do the same with the other two ropes, and stake out the back ones.

I've never secured the awning by the little dangly center strap. In fact, I've never even been clear what it was for. I suppose it might add a little stability in high winds, though I suspect I'd also be doing a lot more tripping if there was rope staked dead center... :-/
