wiring in TV/DVD player

I have a 2010 T@B Clam shell which had an under the counter DVD/TV which was hard wired into the electrical system. Needless to say it died and I replaced it with another under the counter set, my issue is that I do not know how to hard wire it into my electrical system and I have to run an extension chord out of the closet and plug it into the outlet next to the air conditioner. Does anyone know how to direct hard wire the TV into my electric system and is it even possible?

It sound like you are replacing with a 120V unit. Was the original DVD/TV 120V?I don't know much about older T@Bs or clamshell models, but my impression is that audio-visual stuff is typically 12V so you can run it on shore power (via the converter) or on battery when dry camping.2015 T@B Max S (320)

If you are a member of the Yahoo Tabtrailer group you may find more info for your vintage TaB.
Here is a pdf of one of their files that you may find helpful.
