Water Pump Not Working, Help!

  Check the fuses in your electric converter as they should be identified as shown below.  If a fuse is blown a red light should be on when the battery is on or when the trailer is plugged into shore power.....  Is everything else in the trailer working okay?

  Spot on advice!   THANK YOU!  Once plugged into shore power with the pump turned on, the red 10 amp fuse lit up like a Christmas tree. Installed a new fuse and the pump was back in business. Thank you again Mike for your assistance!

  I am having trouble with my water pump only working intermittently any suggestions?

  Can you elaborate? Is it not running at all, or just not moving any water?

  @Michigan_Mike thank you so much for the info on the fuse lighting up red.   Will all the other fuses in the fuse box do the same thing if they are blown?  I learn so much here

  Yes, but not the 120v circuit breakers. They trip just like the ones you have at home.

  To elaborate on my intermittently working water pump… When it turns on it does pump water and flush the toilet but sometimes it does not turn on at all and there does not seem to be any method to it’s madness.  Parked in the same spot and did not move.

  There is probably a loose connection, or the pump is on its last leg. I have not torn into the pump, but I would imagine there is a pressure switch integral to the unit. Either a wire within the circuit is flaking out or possibly the pressure switch...time to trouble shoot the circuit....

  @Cherryrain I'm a little confused by your description of your problem. The water pump should not be on all the time. It only activates when pressure is needed. Do the toilet and sink work okay? If so, the pump is doing its job. It just doesn't have to run all the time to keep the water pressure where it needs to be. It will pump when the demand is there and then it shuts off until the pressure drops enough for it to cycle on again.

  No I  understand that.it When I turn it on sometimes it will work and I can get water sometimes I turn it on and the light does not come on and it does not have power to it.

  PS... Trailer is brand new it’s a 2018 but it has never been used before.

  Is it possible there is a loose switch wire?  Can you unscrew the switch from the wall?

  That sounds logical I will try that when I can get down to the T@b again. Thanks! I did try tapping and shaking the water pump a little bit but that did not seem to make a difference. I Think you may be right that’s where my connection could be loose.
