Trailer light

We just arrived at Bay Furnace campground in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and discovered that one of my tail lights is not working right. The running lights work but the left blinker, brake light, or hazard lights do not work on that side. Is this a wiring issue or a bulb issue?

Check your 7 pin. Clean it, make sure the pins are not bent.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

Could be either wiring or the bulb. The lights NOT working are on a second filament in an incandescent bulb (so if burned out, the tail lights could still work OK), in a LED assembly they are the same diodes. This will take a bit of electrical troubleshooting to solve, assuming LED, I would lean toward wiring, incandescent is a toss up, check one and then the other.2019 T@B 400 Boondock Lite

On the way home from our week in Michigan's U.P., we stopped at the T@B dealer in Traverse City. They checked all possibilities and came up with nothing. Next step is a new taillight. Stay tuned!2015 T@B 320 S, 2019 Jeep Cherokee

We had that, it was a loose pin on the trailer’s 7way plug. Fixed in 2 seconds with needle nose pliers.John and Henrietta, Late 2016 T@B S Max in Western New York

Issue resolved! Nature and Me RV in Traverse City installed the new taillight today and resolved the non-working left blinker and brake light, even though I had running lights. The tech said after he took the LED module out, he noticed a stress fracture where it was screwed in (after he took all the glue off). Not sure what would have caused it but with just over 40,000 miles on our trailer, chalk it up to wear and tear. Maybe a fluke, maybe some info to tuck away for other high mileage T@B folks.2015 T@B 320 S, 2019 Jeep Cherokee
