Indoor v. Outdoor Kitchen

I think the 50 qt ARB goes for around $1000 retail. Not sure what the Norcold frig costs.
I guess I think a lot of design decisions in RVs are scrutinized and ultimately it will come down to cost.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio -
I'm not sure exactly which Norcold unit they're installing these days, but the NR740 retails for about $860. The 50qt ARB retails for $900, and I'm sure you can get Dometic, Engel or Norcol models for less. So I don't really see the cost of the cooler as being a driving factor. I think there must be something else.Sharon_is_SAM said:I think the 50 qt ARB goes for around $1000 retail. Not sure what the Norcold frig costs.

Maybe the customer consensus has been that they like using a more standard version of a refrigerator as opposed to a frig that looks like a camping cooler. Also, maybe Norcold gives a serious wholesale deal to manufacturers of RVs.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio
