Jensen DVD automatically turning on

2020 T@B 400 BD here with Jensen JWM70A. Two nights in a row my DVD player starts up on it’s own and begins playing whatever disc is in it. I didn’t note what the exact time was the first time it did this, but the second time was shortly after midnight =12:20 am. I am solo, my dog was still, remotes are secured with nothing pressing on them or touching them. Phone is Bluetooth paired, but not in use. I checked my phone after being startled awake, thinking the Bluetooth had somehow initiated the startup, but nothing going on there. What could this be? I’m not looking forward to being awoken again and possibly waking others. Has anyone else had this happen?

    Oh no! Did you not buy the optional exorcism package? ;)
    (As a last resort you can pull the fuse for the entertainment system. I certainly wouldn't be able to tolerate that!)

     =) That was my first thought too! No other ghostly activity, everything else works flawlessly.

    I believe there is a clock/timer available that would account for your night time awakenings.

    Same thing happened on our 2019 320s.  Never did figure it out.  I ended up just putting an inline switch on the tv and powering it completely off.

    The alarm could be set. Check page 8 of the manual.

    The following items can be adjusted:
    SLEEP TIMER: select the sleep time from 0 (OFF), 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The sleep timer will automatically turn off the JWM70A in designated number of minutes.
     ALARM (ON/OFF): to turn the alarm function on or off. 
     ALARM SET: The hour clock digit will flash, Rotate the VOL/ENTER knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour. Press the ENTER knob to access the minute adjustment. Press the ENTER knob again to save the alarm time and return to ALARM ON/OFF setting.
    CLOCK SET: The hour clock digit will flash, Rotate the VOL/ENTER knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour. Press the ENTER knob to access the minute adjustment. Press the ENTER knob again to save the clock time.

    Agree. This comes up from time to time and IIRC it often traces back to the alarm/timer on the head unit.

    Thank you everyone. Boy - do I feel silly! It was the "Alarm" - duh! Don't know how I set it, but we'll see tonight if that fixed it.  :)
