Our trailer is parked on some uneven ground, so I am wondering if anyone knows the inches from the ground to the frame, close to the wheel. Wondering what jack I should use just in case. ( did a search, could't find the answer ) thanks

I've always assumed the standard scissors jack that came with my truck would work. It collapses pretty flat for storage. But, I confess I haven't actually tested it.At home I still use the (no longer recommended) tongue-jack-and-rear-stabilizers method to raise the wheels. However, if I were trying to change a tire on the side of the road, I'd prefer an option that doesn't require unhitching the trailer.2015 T@B Max S (320)

The factory jack which came with my 03 and 19 Toyota Tacoma’s worked fine under my 2018 320 Boondock.2022 TAB 400 Boondock, 2019 Toyota Tacoma Sport 4x4

We carry this 4 Ton bottle jack. It has 15" of lift and is easy enough to operate at the jacking point. It worked well on our Boondock with the same size tires when we last serviced bearings, brakes and did a tire rotation in the driveway.

So jacking up the trailer is one thing, but how far does the actual wheel drop, because of the swing arm suspension? It it drops 4", then I would need a jack that would go up aprox 16"?2020 320-S boondock, solar, 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E

@trimtab, I haven't jacked the T@B up yet so unfortunately I don't know. If you use a scissors or bottle jack though, you're probably traveling with several nice long blocks of wood or the lego blocks for leveling that you could use under the jack. That's probably a good idea regardless to get a nice firm base. Offhand though, I would agree with your 4" estimate - seems in the ballpark to me. Good luck!

Have a smaller than usual 2 ton floor jack. It lifts to 15". My whole point was I did'nt want to buy another jack..looks like some 2 x 6 lengths are going traveling too, o well. Trying to travel light is tough.2020 320-S boondock, solar, 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E
