2020 T@B 320 CSS BDL - warm water when first turn on faucet, then cold

New unit purchased in June 2020. This is my 2nd Alde unit. I had one in my 2014 T@B with the analog control panel and no mixing valve. I am camping where I am just wanting hot water, but did use heat one night in the past week. Alde is functional, but not consistently producing hot water. When I first turn on the clam faucet, water is warm, but then turned cold. I couldn't get any hot water in the shoilet, yesterday. I have not adjusted the mixing valve, but haven't felt the need during previous trips. Ideas? I've gone through the manual a few times and nothing jumps out at me. Thanks!

If you release water using the yellow flapper valve is it hot? If so, check the Alde Bypass valve. It should be closed.

@Sharon_is_SAM.. didn't someone recently post that they had flipped the yellow flapper past the open position?

Yes, sounds like the bypass valve got closed. Set the Alde panel to Shower mode to get just hot water. This resets after. 30-minutes, so needs to be set when you need extra hot water every time.

Hey all-you are awesome! It was the bypass valve. I suspected it was something like that. I did not have one of those in my 2014, either. I was rearranging the clam galley and I must have moved it out of position. Everything is right with the T@B world now.😀

I did not adjust the mixing valve. It’s actually good where it is for summer.

But the hit water is not working, so how can you be sure?

When i first had my 2019 tab 400, the water would start hot then be cold very quickly. After adjusting the mixing valve all was well. Just a thought.

Once I repositioned the bypass valve, I had hot water at both faucets. It's been so hot in Minnesota, that warm is good enough for me right now.
