What a long strange trip it's been...

Hi Folks,

With thanks to the prescient lyrics from the 1977 Grateful Dead album, what a strange year it has been.

First the pandemic, which negated all of our pre-planned adventures. Once things opened up, our first outing suffered from the remnants of Cristobal. At the end of our latest one, on Monday the derecho came to visit. That's two hurricanes in two months. In the midwest!!!

Anyway, we survived with minor damages, but there are many who weren't so lucky. Looks like the aftermath of a war zone in our neck of the woods. Most still have no electricity.

So, if you know someone in the area, please offer your support anyway you can.

And try to be prepared for the unexpected.
