Forgot to turn on dry camp

So only third time out in the camper.  We turned the pump on and forgot to turn to dry camp.  We didn't realize it for a good 40 minutes when one of us was like why is the pump running continually? Now we are worried we did permanent damage.  Anyone ever do this?

I assume "turn to dry camp" has something to do with the new Nautilus system (with which I am not familiar).

Regardless, the water pumps are generally indicated as safe to run dry. If yours still works and it still pumps water, I would find better things to worry about and camp on!  :-)

@ScottG, What setting did you have at first, for those 40 min.?

We had it on city water setting.  And yes this is the new system on 2021 T@b.  So it was pumping air I think...

Thanks Scott we are just extra worried about our T@B (Podling).  Never spent this much on a personal recreational item lol.

I think of the TaB 400 as more than a recreational item, it is a spare room, allows safe transport during the pandemic, having your own facilities and sleeping quarters with you, that You know are safe, and provides enjoyment in the process.

Good points, @Denny16. I tend to agree with @Aliase that the T@B is a recreational item (and a pricey one at that), but I sure have been glad to have it this year!   :-)
