Maiden Voyage Was Spectacular!

What a weekend in Temecula, balloons included! Our first trip in our 2018 320S Boondock was a blast. We love how comfy and cozy it was sleeping under the stars. We were able to really see what mods we will be looking at for our next trip.

Some quick observations from our Maiden Voyage:

1. Pulling her behind our Tacoma Pre Runner V6 was a breeze.

2. Having a toilet was and is a blessing.

3. The lighting is fantastic, almost at times too bright. The bathroom light is overwhelming while using in the middle of the night. We are going to put a small sticky light in the upper corner as you walk in. With the gap from the shower door to the ceiling, we will be able to turn it on prior to entering the bathroom.

4. The fridge was perfect for the two of us.
5. The bed was super comfy and it was really warm inside, even with our windows and slightly ajar.

We can’t wait to hit the road for more adventures.

Congrats!

Regarding the bath light at night situation, I have these in the bathrooms at home, and take one with me on every trip (with or without the Tab): https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FIAWKCC/

They’re battery operated, complete with motion sensors, and not too bright. Turns itself off in 30 seconds, so if you need longer, just wave your hand at it. I usually have mine on the kitchen counter at night when in the Tab so I don’t trip over the dog, but the ledge of the shower across from the bath door is a perfect spot if you don’t want to light up the whole cabin.

@Denny16 Thank you! I can’t remember where we bought the mat, but it’s light weight and rolls up easily. It feels a little like straw.

@DigPolo, looks like you stated at a winery in Temecula, was it Harvest Hosts? FYI, I live full time in my T@B400. Since my daughter lives in Temecula I spend a lot of time there camped in her backyard.

@jimcenname We stay at our cousins home in Temecula. They have full hookups and a spectacular view nestled between several wineries. It’s too beautiful and an easy getaway from HB.
