Alde 3010 always warm?

I guess I was wrong thinking if the control panel is dark/ off? that there will be no heat/hot water?  We didn’t need either.

I had the panel off, but I could still feel heat on the Alde unit itself even thru the cushion above it.

We were on shore power, no propane turned on.

    If the control panel is dimmed....that is just the panel dimming setting. (Pg 14 in the manual.)

    It is hard to see, but the "Power" button has that little green light in it that shows whether the Alde is actually on or off.

    If you are not sure if the Alde control panel is turned on (just dimmed), just tap the screen.  The screen will display if the control panel is turned on.  It is possible that there is an automatic start time set.

    I’ll have to check that.  All I know is if I press the power button the screen comes on and I can play with settings.  A second press of the power button and the screen goes off.

    The Power button should shut the Alde off.  Try turning of the hot water option and turning off the electric heat and gas heat options, thst should shut down the Alde completely.  This works on our Alde 3020 panel.
