Alde heater questions

We just bought a 2016 Tab, and have some questions regarding the Alde heater.
1. Does it always make a gurgling sound? I looked at the Glycol/water level and it's good.
2. Is there some kind of fan to circulate the heat?
3. The heat just seems to go up regardless of the temp setting. Is there some kind of trick?
Thanks for any answers/suggestions.

@RickSpero - an excess gurgling sound may be caused by the glycol pump being set too high. Look under the bench for the Alde pump. It should be set at about 1.5 for your TaB. I will try to find a pump picture.
The Alde is like a radiator - no fan. It works via convection. Cool air is drawn into the fins from the cut outs at the base of the benches and the air gets heated. The warm air exits through the slots at the top of the bench and behind the rear wall shelf. So, it is a very quiet system.
Because the metal fins heat up, just like a radiator, they may continue to give off heat for a while. Our TaBs are very small and heat up quickly. Not unusual to need to turn the thermostat down. Keep that in mind for bedtime. We keep the thermostat at 65 or less.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio -

Thanks, @Sharon_is_SAM. I found the pump. It was set at 2, so I'll try lowering it to 1.5 and see if that's a little quieter.
Thanks also for the advice on the temp setting!
We love our T@B and are looking forward to learning all its idiosyncrasies. -
@RickSpero - it also helps to crack the front window and the overhead vent to improve air flow and prevent condensation on the cabin walls from expired water.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

Sharon, where did you locate the pump control? I have looked all over my 2017 cs-s. Thank you?

Yes @pak - under the driver side bench next to the Alde. If I remember, in our CSS it faces towards the front of the TaB.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

I did find it after looking the second time. I am amazed how things are cleverly tucked in places on my t@b. Thanks for the help.
