We just bought a 2016 Tab, and have some questions regarding the Alde heater.
1. Does it always make a gurgling sound? I looked at the Glycol/water level and it's good.
2. Is there some kind of fan to circulate the heat?
3. The heat just seems to go up regardless of the temp setting. Is there some kind of trick?
Thanks for any answers/suggestions.

2. Not built in, but some people use them to even the temp.

The Alde is like a radiator - no fan. It works via convection. Cool air is drawn into the fins from the cut outs at the base of the benches and the air gets heated. The warm air exits through the slots at the top of the bench and behind the rear wall shelf. So, it is a very quiet system.
Because the metal fins heat up, just like a radiator, they may continue to give off heat for a while. Our TaBs are very small and heat up quickly. Not unusual to need to turn the thermostat down. Keep that in mind for bedtime. We keep the thermostat at 65 or less.
Thanks also for the advice on the temp setting!
We love our T@B and are looking forward to learning all its idiosyncrasies.
(It faces to the rear, so not obvious.)
