Sliding new window into the bracket?

How do you slide the new window into the the bracket at the top, does it have to be at a specific angel? I tried to line it up but we must be doing something wrong, does not seem to line up so we can slide it into the bracket. Anybody have any insight into the correct way of installing the new window?

On my 400, both of those have fallen off my front window...so they aren't (or at least mine aren't) held on by much.
I'd recommend taking a broad flat surface, like the a large dowel, or piece of wood, and tap it off. So from the inside edge of the black bumper, just tap it straight off towards the outside edge of the window.
They come off straight in line with the plastic hinge piece they are attached to...
It will come off easily enough, once you apply some even force to it.2025 T@B 400 Boondock Black Canyon with 400Ah Battle Born and Victron Multiplus 3000

It seems like you need to slide it from right to left. I will try to find the thread.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

Ok I figured out that my window was never attached to the metal slide to begin with so did not know that was a part of the installation, I thought the window slid into the metal slide, and that the metal slide was fixed and could not be removed. I understand now that the slide has to come out. (picture of old window)

@RayJim are you saying there is a new aluminum strip that comes with installing a replacement window? Or are you saying the window has to slide out of that fixed aluminum track? I can't tell from your pic of your new window assembly if you are replacing that aluminum track as well. Also, how much did the new window cost? I'm trying to McGyver mine because it seems silly to replace the whole window when there's nothing wrong with mine other than it moves/comes out of the aluminum track and I found something that will hold it in place.

You see in the picture the aluminum rail that is curved? That slides out, and then you attach it to the window. then you slide it back in with the window attached to it. Please share your fix to keep the window from popping out, what are you using to hold it in place?2021 T@B Boondock 400. 2021 Toyota SR5 V6

I was finally able to get to the dealership and install the new windows and vent fan that was sent to me under warranty. New vent fan replaced the original fan that was noisy and had a faulty switch.

What happened to your windows? Why did they need replacing?

This is my 3rd front window and 3rd back window. The previous windows, front and back, the hinge expanded to the point where when the window is opened it would slide out of the bracket/hinge holding it. I opened the front window the last time it came out and the weight of it broke the arm on the left and cause the window to fall and crack.2021 T@B Boondock 400. 2021 Toyota SR5 V6

Previous windows that were replaced all had this happen to them. The gap should be 6mm, but mine where 10-11mm on the edge and 9mm throughout the rest of the hinge.

New window no damage/warping to the hinge.
