Bad Alde Internal Water Leak

My Alde just sprang a water leak somewhere internally.  With either city or fresh tank water being fed, water will slowly accumulate in the very small drip pan the unit sits on.  Then weep out of the hole in the drip pan below the exhaust port.  Turned off the hot and cold lines going into the unit, and the leak stopped.  Will be removing the unit tomorrow and taking the cover off.  Of course it is out of warranty.  Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.
