Do I need a weight distributing hitch when towing my 2021 nucamp 400 boondock with my 2015 f150

Nope. WDH not needed and not recommended. Especially with an F150. I tow mine with a Nissan Titan and it tows like a dream. I'm sure the F150 will tow just as well.2021 T@b 400 BD "Vixen Gail"

X2...nope. As mentioned in other threads the use of a WDH is not recommended for a T@B. An adequate TV properly loaded and a T@B properly loaded will do the job.2020 T@B 400 "OTTO" (build date 08/19)

A Ford F-150 with a factory tow package should not have an issue towing the TaB400. Do not try to tow one with a bumper type hitch. You need a proper tow receiver setup. Don’t ask how I know this...

We tow with a Ford Expedition and it has done well with the T@B 400, even with a 30mph plus cross wind, without a weight distribution hitch.

+1 on no WDH
I'm towing a 2021 400 with a Honda Ridgeline, and you definitely do not need a WDH. The 2021 400 tows very well - and is stable and doesn't sway even with insane head, cross, and rear South Texas winds that I just pulled through for 100's of miles.2025 T@B 400 Boondock Black Canyon with 400Ah Battle Born and Victron Multiplus 3000

We've been towing our 2018 T@B 400 with an F-150 from coast to coast multiple times without WDH and with no problems at all. Welcome to the nüCamp family!

Towed mine home with a Q5 in high winds - no issues. If I can do it with a small SUV, an F-150 should have no problem.

Been towing our 2019 t@b 400 BDL with a Ford F-150 without a WDH for some time without issue. I do have the single sway bar but as for towing the Ford handles it with ease, even in strong winds.
