Camping and no power to outlets

I’ve just set up camp and the lights work the radio turns on but I can’t get any of the outlets to work. Also I don’t know if the fridge is on or not I thought that was normal light when you had it on AC and I don’t see a light .Help !!

Are you plugged into shore power? Is the power on at the pedestal?

The indicator lights on the fridge(battery,propane, AC) are very dim. When I select the mode, I usually cup my hand around the indicators (unless at night) to ensure I see them on.

regarding the AC outlets, if you are plugged into shore power, make sure you have the pedestal circuit breaker turned on. Also make sure the GFI outlet hasn’t tripped.

If you are not connected to power, the AC outlets do not work, unless you have an inverter installed. What type of fridge do you have, a 3-way or AC/DC compressor type?

Mark Turney Thank you.. so What I figured out is that my surge protector was not letting full voltage through so I guess maybe there’s something wrong with the surge protector it’s not very old at all and it’s a really good one when I plug the extension cord in directly everything works

If you are using an extension cord, how long is it and what gauge? That could be your problem.

Your surge protector may also reflect the status of the campground pedestal. I would trust the surge protector. You should try your surge protector at another campground pedestal and see if it works. Let the office know about the faulty pedestal.

Ok. So plugged in have power. I have flipped all the breakers and checked all the fuses.
cord is good too. Still no power in camper .
