2020 Tab 400 Power Cutoff?

I was helping a fellow Tab owner with a red overheat message on his Alde panel and had him shut off the shore power breaker and flip the battery disconnect.

This did not kill the 12 volt power. The lights still worked and the Alde did not shut off.

Anybody heard of this?
He pulled the fuse for the Alde in the power panel and that did the trick. I am just curious about the power not shutting off. It works 2019.

It sounds like maybe the battery switch was off to start and they turned it on - hence the lights and Alde panel were still lit.

@Sharon_is_SAM I tried it in both positions! Seems weird to me. I showed him where the 12v connections were on the Alde from one of your posts but pulling the fuse at the panel worked.

@JeffroNC, so when he pulled the Alde fuse, did that cause the lights to go out, too?

Was the T@B plugged into a tow vehicle, by any chance?

@ScottG pulling the Alde fuse only killed the panel and reset the error.

Yes, I didn’t notice that it was still connected to the TV. Now he knows his seven pin is hot with the TV off!
