Alde Leaving Water In Tank

How long can you leave water in your freshwater tank? Also, if the Alde isn't being used for hot water or heat between uses, do you just drain your hot water low-level drain?

    The operator's manual states to drain the fresh water tank after each trip and to leave the yellow drain valve open when not in use.  I've also started using a hose filter when on city water in order to minimize corrosion.

    Which valve is yellow?

    It's the valve that feeds cold water into the Alde at the bottom front.  The first photo shows the valve open to drain, the second is closed to fill the tank.

    @manyman297 - besides draining the Alde water tank, if you dry camped and used the water pump, you should also drain the fresh water tank after a trip.

    Wow. I don't think I've ever done this. Of course, we camp sp regularly, the water doesn't stay in our tank for very long.
