Low batter - high pitched sound

We are noon docking and on our 3rd day. Battery is low. There is also a high pitch sound coming from under the bed. Could not find anything to turn it off. Any input on to how to conserve battery better during the day? Turn off inverter somewhere? And how to turn off the high pitch sound and what that may be coming from?

What year and model is your trailer? What device do you have to monitor your battery? There are several items that might "alarm" when the battery gets low: the inverter in a 400, the gas alarm in all the trailers, etc.So: what model, what year? What are you using to monitor your battery?

First: Get The Victron App! The KIB monitor in the trailer....is pretty, has nice lights, but is worthless for battery monitoring. The monitors in the trailer are probably the downfall of so many batteries and camping trips.Get the Victron App. We can show you how to read it. It will give you the True Story of what your battery is doing. And, your solar. If you can, show us a picture of your "Status" page and your "History" page. The inverter will also ruin your day. Find the inverter "switch" and make sure it is turned off.

@Sylvia that high pitched tone is the low battery warning on the inverter. It has a parasitic load even when not using any outlets, so keep it turned off unless you are charging/using something. I had forgotten to turn it off after a camping trip one time, and walked out to the camper to hear a tone under the bed. That’s when I realized I left the inverter on.

Keeping the Inverter on, even when not using its outlet, will drain your battery quickly. Keep it turned off, unless you are using its outlet(s).
