Our recent trip to South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach State Park and Dreher Island State Park. Dreher Island SP was a gem - it was a recommendation from our T@B sales person and we will definitely be back - albeit when it is not as hot as at the end of July!

Shakedown trip this past week with our 2022 T@B 400 BD. Stayed at Sagadahoc Bay Campground on Georgetown Island, Maine. The campground was “meh”, not really kept up well. The T@B was great, everything seemed to work properly. Went swimming at Sewell Pond in Arrowsic (pup had his first real swim and didn’t want to stop), lunch twice at Five Islands Lobster Company (yes, it was awesome), little hike with the pup at the Webber Kelly Preserve. Gas mileage on the TV was about 12.5 MPG, vs. the normal 22-23 MPG. Only one noob goof, I forgot to take the plug out of one end of the dump hose. I puzzled about that for a minute until I looked at the clear end going into the dump tank and saw the plug. Managed to get it out without causing a toxic waste spill and will add that to my checklist.

At Sandbanks Provincial Park, Burgeo, NL (sorry, no pick of actual set-up, we were just leaving the park), and set-up with Big Dipper overhead at Windmill Bight Municipal Park, Lumsden, NL. We did a one week cross-island trip, Brigus to Burgeo, with 3 nights in Burgeo (some of the best beaches I’ve ever walked on), a night at the base of Marble Mountain for a lazy float down the Humber River, a night in Lascie, and a night in Windmill Bight (also surrounded by some great beaches), with a visit to the historic Barbour Premises. We have had our Tab since 2015, and rarely see one, but saw five on this trip!

Wrangled a 1-night stay at Kalaloch Campground in Olympic National Park, Washington state, a couple of weeks ago.

Nice, forested campground. Easy trail to beach.

South Beach, just down the road, is fabulous. First come first serve but a wonderful gem of a campground with great views.

Trip #4, first out of state at Deep Creek Lake State Park in western Maryland. Definitely a learning curve with this camper, but feeling so much more confident and competent than when we first started.

Beautiful state park, bear activity is real here!
