Reset Air8

Have 2021 320 and need to clear the bell buzzer and on off timers on ewell control panel. Any ideas? Or maybe factory reset which I have no clue how to do?  Air8 manual is garbage

  • Never mind. I figured out the sequence needed to delete the timers.

  • Just in case you don't have an Air8 manual or if not in the files here (moderator?), here's a copy:

  • Thanks.  We have this under Owners Manuals - Air Conditioning

@DaveAnna How did you disable the timer?  I went out in my driveway and the unit was running.  I think I disabled the timer and the display shows  --:-- when I'm in the set mode.  I don't see the on/off info on the display now so I can assume it's really off?
Also, I guess "Off" doesn't really mean off??  When your turn the unit off it will still turn back on based on the timer?  Is the only way to really turn it off is to use the breaker?

  • I’m having a grey moment. I think I read the manual from Sharon above and got rid of the timers. Shouldn’t need to use the breaker. I’ll see if I can dig anything up on what I set mine up

Could you share the sequence that worked for you?   The one in our manual (power button and + for 6 seconds) does not seem to work
  • I’ll try to dig up.
  • I did follow the manual instructions. It’s really confusing but I was able to delete the bell and all timers. You have to wait until the bell icon flashes before releasing the buttons. Otherwise it goes into clock set mode
