Quick fix for 2023 T@B 400 dinette cushion support

My wife and I are brand new (just this past Friday Nov 4 2022 ) owners of a 2023
T@B400 Boondock. Happy to be part of the nüCamp family. This is my first post.
We found one issue with the new bunk dinette layout and have a quick fix I am trying out. The left cushion (as you look at the dinette) is not supported well because its back has little support behind it. The cushion collapses into that area. Adding this simple fix makes a big difference for support and being able to lay your arm on the cushion. Maybe the folks at nüCamp can come up with a better idea.
A set of pictures is better than me trying to describe my fix.

@KK1L Welcome!Great fix for that issue. I believe most years have this issue as well. One fix I found (and I promise I’m not being a wise *ss) was to actually store something in that space. We put blankets and a pillow in that space and it’s perfect for when we use the dinette as a bed…quick access to them. It also keeps that area from collapsing.2021 400 BD

@manyman297 Thanks for the comment. The same though crossed our mind..."well lets just keep it full". Blankets and pillow are the perfect occupants even ,since it does get hot in there when the heat is running and you would put them back when you are done with it as a bed. My fix-it mentality kicked in though.

Yes, a good fix and welcome aboard. We also store bedding for the front dinette in the space behind the cushion. On the 2018/2019 the rear cushion is held up against the front cushion which is jammed under the front window trim, which keeps everything in place nicely, shown here:

On my 2023 I folded the long skinny cushion meant for the bunk bed in half and stuffed it there to provide support for the back rest cushion.Debbie in Oregon
