How to open trailer J box

Hi,

I'm looking for some hints on how to open the trailer junction box. I've done a minor re-wiring effort to install an inverter and lithium batteries inside and I want to confirm the #6 pin in the box is getting power.

I can feel (although I can't see it) that there is a tab on top of the j box that maybe you press. But before I go and and possibly not do it right (i.e break it) , I thought I'd check with others.

Are you referring to the 7-Pin Cable Junction Box mounted on frame?
The cover is held in place by two large Phillips or Hex Head bolts . . . at least that was the case up to model year 2019 . . .

The Bolts are at the Red X positions on the cover:

Yes, that's them. I see them now, they are recessed below flush and did not see them w/o a flashlight.

Just curious, is there any sealant or rubber gasket between the cover and the box?

There might be a gasket in the cover, but I don't recall for certain. Either way, I've never had an issue removing and reinstalling the cover. There is nothing you have to clean off or replace.
