I have not seen anything posted yet about the lottery sign-up for uCamp 2024. The sign-up opens today, January 25, at 11:00 a.m. EST. As in the past, the sign-up puts your name in the lottery to be selected for a ticket to uCamp but is not a guarantee of attending.

Lottery result coming out today. We were put on the wait list for Winklepleck, but got drawn for a boondock site. Anyone else get a notification?

Note that sign-up lottery was just for the limited spots at Winklepleck Campground itself. Registration for the lucky winners of that lottery is now open. You can still attend the event by staying at one of the nearby (~15min) campgrounds, purchasing entry tickets and coming onsite. Entry tickets become available February 20.

Pockets are $400 lighter, but we're all set. Last year we were in the same boat. Got a boondock site first, but then were offered one at Winklepleck so took it. Thinking that this year we may stay with boondocking even if offered a campground site. Trying to make the battery/solar upgrades pay for themselves. Any thoughts or insight on uCamp boondocking?

It has been a few years since we last attended. The sites shouldn't be a problem for you. The boondocking sites I remember had plenty of open sky and were located near the big meeting tent. Boondocking sites are closer to the event tents. In fact, for some things I didn't have to get out of my camp chair.

We got off the Winkleplek wait-list today so we'll be coming to ucamp this year for the first time. (Hopefully no storms this year.) We'll have to miss the first day because of a family commitment, but are looking forward to the rest of it!
Coming from Minnesota, so a bit of a drive.
