What is the panel under the back of the trailer?

Not sure I'm posting this under the correct category so please advise if there's a better topic.

I noticed what appears to be a panel that can be removed under the back of my 2014 T@B and wonder what it's for or provides access to? It is above the spare tire and goes right across the width of the trailer.

I've never heard anything suggesting that that panel is designed to be removed. The space behind that panel should be accessible from the inside by removing the rear bench cushions and the top of the little shelf under the rear cabinets.

It's the floor.  A necessary part of achieving the teardrop shape.  The picture in your "plywood panel" post is the top side.
