3d printed lock for TAB 400 shower control

I was tired of getting sprayed after accidentally bumping the shower control knob.  I created and printed a 3d model that slides down over the handle when not using the shower.  It prevents the shower knob from opening.  Slide on to lock, slide off to use the shower.

@xdr. Is be happy to send you one.  Unfortunately, I found that shipping costs were averaging about $8 each, so I need to raise the price to $13 for one, but can add additional unit for only $5 more each.

I have the orange and white already printed and can mail any time.

    Let me know.

We've replace the shower head with one that has push button cut-off. Beside conserving water, leaving it in the off position should prevent these type of mishaps.

Very clever @HeadCount.  You should apply for a patent before someone else does

Nice job.  Slotting a PVC tee also worked on our 320s to prevent accidental activation.

@elbolillo I usually chase the center hole with a drill bit to make sure it's round and fits right.  Cant remember the exact size of the bit at the moment.  I'll post that later when we get home.

@elbolillo I use a 9/32nd inch drill bit to clean up the hole.  Makes it smooth and slide right on

Our came in the mail over the weekend while we were on our shakedown trip to start the season.
We should've stopped for the mail when we brought the camper home, we could've put it in the camper before putting it back in the storage lot.

But, it looks DARN good and now we no longer have to worry about turning the shower on AND I suspect we'll be able to hang our loofah on it to dry after taking a shower!

Thank you VERY much @HedCount !!!

Thanks for letting me know the size of bit to use. First attempt I used a bit that was too large. Had to reprint. Need to test it out when I am home.

HedCount Out of curiosity, do you have any left?? We purchased the shut-off valve, and the shower still leaks when someone accidentally hits it. Your way seems like a better option!
