Propane not flowing

Is there another propane shutoff valve besides the one on top of the tank? In have a full tank, a wide open valve, but no propane at the cook top. Any suggestions? I’m a total newb. Just bought the 2023 Tab 400 Boondock from a private party yesterday and took it to an rv park a couple hours from home today to try it out. Discovered the propane was not working as the sun was setting on this small mountain town in Colorado. 😢

    Try this: close the valve, wait a couple of minutes, then open the valve again VERY SLOWLY

    Close the valve at the tank and open it *slowly*. Also realize that there might be air in the propane lines that needs to purge. Do you hear a hissing sound when opening the stove valve(s) ? Propane has a distinctive smell as well.

    I have had this happen to me a number of times. What has worked for me is to close the valve at the tank and then disconnect the hose. Reconnect and slowly open the valve.  Then attempt to light the stove.

    Tried that multiple times. It’s really like there’s a closed valve somewhere. No gas is leaving the tank at all

       How do you know propane tank is full . . . seller says or you filled
       Have you tried the process @elbolillo suggested "disconnecting the hose"

       On a standard TAB 400 with no past owner modifications there is only the one control valve.

    ? Bad regulator or defective tank safety.  Easy enough to exchange the tank.  Please try to heat water with the Alde on propane on battery and off shorepower.

    I had this same problem about a week ago with my 2020 T@B 320S BDL "factory supplied" propane tank. I fixed it by performing the following steps: 1. close the valve on the propane tank 2. remove the hose from the propane tank 3. spray a bit of WD40 in the (safety?) valve (as shown in the photo) (optional step??) 4. use a medium-sized plastic phillips screwdriver (or similar) to quickly depress and release the (safety?) valve. (I heard a "pfft" when I did this) 5. reconnect the hose 6. slowly open the valve and try lighting a burner. I hope this works for you like it did for me!

    I've learned with the 400 that it takes a minute or two for propane to reach the stove when the gas has been turned off for a while. To be safe, I don't use the ignitor for this process. Instead I use a regular long handled lighter and keep the flame lit, pointed right at the burner, then turn on the gas. It lights as soon as the propane starts to come through.

    I recently replaced my ‘22 propane valve for same reason.  The valve is just behind the tank on front of trailer.

    Had this issue while on an extended trip.  I remembered reading (here) to open the valve on the tank, then turn on one of the stove burners and hold the button down (for gas to release).  Did it and after about 90 sec or so the burner started, then started the second and let them run for a few minutes.  Afterwards, no issues.
