Tongue Enclosure on T@B 320

Hi All,

I did search the forums and couldn't find any instructions or video that anyone else had made about enclosing the tongue with a mesh bottom and maybe a diamond plate top with lock for storing sewer hose. I don't have the fancy tongue box holder (that could hold multiple boxes) and my hitch sway and electronic plug prevent me from mounting a tube for the hose alongside the tongue like I've seen some folks do. I'm just looking for ideas on how to do it without actually drilling hols into the tongue.

Thanks!

If you are on the frugal side, a lot can be done with some plywood scrap, self drilling screws or tywraps.

I've seen the long, heavy zip-ties used for HVAC ducting. You can use "U" bolts to go around the frame and large flat washers and nuts under the platform. A local hardware store person could be of help (a real hardware store, not a big-box store). If you go the plywood route, drill a couple of holes to drain accumulated rain water.

I put a bottom on mine with expanded metal. I did not put a top on. I store the hose there. This works for me.

I added a small tool box to the top of the front triangle.  I fit perfect and provides some dry, lockable storage.
