    Which model?  The "Boondock" model, with the slightly "pitched" axle, or the standard model without a "pitched" axle?
    Have a look at these threads and see if anything helps.

    Note that the lowest point is actually the bottom of the jack - which is why so many get a Jack-e-up so they can remove the thing before they bend it

    The tape is at 9" (the case is 3") = 12 " clear at the rear axle with the T@B setting level. The prospective in the photo eludes to lower clearance beyond, but at the rear axle is the lowest point. My metal bottom looks a little different, but it fastens to the bottom of the cold rolled frame like the stock plastic cardboard. I have 235/75/r15 tires with a stock "pitched" axle. My step measures  14-1/4" from the bottom of the frame to the ground.- I have no idea what the dimension on that link was measuring. My waste pipes have more then 12" below them. I believe the 2021's are the same - hope this helps

    It is non-Boondock.

    The Boondock model only increases clearance by 3-4 inches.
