Keder rail liner coming out, remove or?

Got to our campsite the other day and our friends who are camping with us, pointed out that the plastic trim in the keder rail on the bathroom side of the camper, was coming out in one spot.
Can we just pull the line out and be done with it, or should we secure it for the drive home in a couple days with tape and do a better fix once we've got access to a ladder?
Although, I could back up the truck a bit more and stand in the bed to get at the trim...

It's purely cosmetic. You can usually tuck it back in, but pulling it all out is okay. Ours is out since we slide a tent into our keder rail.Rich2019 T@b 400

Ours popped out partially on both sides and then split. It would be nice if there was a replacement that better remains in place

Thank you both!
I'll just pull it out before we head home this weekend so it's not flapping around on the drive, and if it comes out clean, try to reinstall it later----------------------------------------------------------

@Jay_and_Kat - just remove the liner and discard. That’s what most owners end up doing.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

It's widely available in different sizes and colors. Search for "screw cover trim strip" or some such thing. It probably won't work any better than the original, but at least if yours is broken you can replace it.I pulled mine off on the passenger side since I use the keder rail, but FWIW the driver side has stayed put going on eleven years.2015 T@B Max S (320)
