air in water lines - maybe problem fixed

in Heating/Plumbing & Winterizing
Replaced filter next to water pump with new filter.  Runs now with no air in water lines, pump pressurizes system then shuts off.
Unscrewing clear plastic cap on old filter shows distorted O-ring - probably where air came in.  Will carry spare filter
now Shurfow 255-213

    Reason why the O-ring could move out of groove and loose seal was deformed plastic casting in clear plastic cover of Shurflo 255-213. O-ring groove malformed.
