Trying this again, my post was closed for some reason. When I turn on the pump, water leaks from hot water pipe under seat, out of the white 0 ring at the top. Can't figure it out.
Tab 320, 2021. Just got back from boondocking and suctioned water from jug into camper. I suctioned using the left side water suction, had knobs on tank fill, everything went fine. Switched knobs to dry camp, turned on pump and water is coming out of the top t-pipes under seat from the left side valve. Also from faucets. Water leak? Doing something wrong?
That is the mixing valve for the plumbing. Which exact spot is it leaking from? From the "red" pipe connector where it connects to the mixing valve?
These are "John Guest" push fittings. You push them in slightly, and when you let go, they release from the side of the valve. It might be that your push fitting has worked loose a little bit.
This thread has a discussion of a failed valve, and it shows how the fittings come out and what they look like. It may be that just "resetting" the connector properly will stop the leak.
If you can, look closely at the inside of the brass pipe coming out of the valve. There is a small screen in the valves that can become clogged, so see if you can get a look inside.
thanks for info everybody. I did try pushing in the John Guest fitting (thanks for the name) but it came loose again. Next step is to try to take it apart from the brass fitting and putting it back together again. Check inside brass as well. My issue is a leak at that spot not a mixing problem (although now I know where that is) Fingers crossed that will work! Try to get around to it in the next few days. Will let you all know.
@Dana, I don't see where your original post was closed. I'm not sure what happened, but I've merged the two discussions here in order to keep all related comments on the topic together.
