Temporarily turning the glycol circulation pump speed up to maximum (5) is a good technique to clear an air block in the Alde system. I used it on a recent trip out east and it saved us from some cold nights. It took only a minute or two to force the air out. I assume the air was forced out of the automatic bleed valve located in the Alde compartment. The glycol level in the reservoir went down about 1/2 inch. I turned the pump speed back down to 2.5 and the system worked normally.
There was no leak. The tech simply introduced air into the system. I ran the system for a few days and the fluid level is stabilized. The expansion tank is warm confirming fluid is circulating properly. Thank you for the warning. My little camper is happy now and so am I.
