What am I missing?

I have a '23 400 and those flimsy accordion window screens are driving me nuts. Is there a mod, method or upgrade to get them to fold cleanly when I retract or extend the screen. I did do a search, but did not find anything.

@chuckg57, you may find this video helpful:

Although Patrick and Patty no longer own their T@b 400, Patrick has an extensive library of videos on YouTube, specifically for the T@B400. I have learned a lot from him.

The shades frustrate some while being fine for others.
I've seen YouTube comments that using a dry lubricant spray can make them easier to move by
    - - reducing friction in the side tracks -

On my 320S the front curved window is always difficult to move {I should look into the spray}. What I've found that is very helpful is to adjust the screen/shade position with TWO hands; one on each side between the locking clip and side rail . . . that allows you to control the left/right side movement.  Just using one hand and the center lock point increases the side rail drag issues.

Big Picture, I really like this style of screen/shade.

Thanks guys. The screen I am fine with, its the see thru bug screen that is the issue.

For what it's worth, the screen strings on our front window failed a couple of years ago. I've repaired the side windows, but the front would not cooperate. I ended up cutting the strings out. If we use two hands or have it clipped to the black out shade it works fine. I'm sure it's fixable, but not up there on my list of things to do.

My front (curved window) screen bunches a bit funny when I retract it. It started doing it after I retrofitted bug brush to the inside of the side tracks, so I expect it does have something to do with the sides of the screen getting caught up a bit.
It's a minor hassle in my case, and certainly better than all the bugs that used to get around the screens before the mods!
