removing latch from T@B400 window (not from window frame)

  I have exactly the same question. I want to take the latch off to put some graphite lubricant into it

  We have a window latch (lockable style), same as you picture above, where the red lock button is broken. The red button pops out further than the others which allows the handle to rotate. It other words, it does not have a lock mode.

  
  

  If the latch can be removed, are new ones available for purchase? I scanned the nuCamp site store, but didn't see one.

  SWAG:
  Remove one screw
  Loosen second screw enough to rotate latch
  Place first screw through window into anchor plate.
  Remove second screw...
  Reverse to re-install.
  Either screw should grip the plate enough to rotate it into position as needed.

  @rfuss928, funny, I actually ran that scenario through my head too, but I need reassurance that it will work though, before trying it.

  I haven't had to use it on the window latch but have had several similar situations where that was the required procedure. Usually not in transparent material which added another level of challenge. I think you'll be all set for the latch removal..

  Jordan Brown, from nuCamp responded to my question. He said, "Typically the backer plate is glued in there. It shouldn't move unless the glue has come loose or something."
  
  He also mentioned that we will have to go through a dealer to order a replacement latch, as they are not available on the nuCamp small parts store website.
