Hey @AnOldUR , I posted side by side pictures of the different panels about 6 months ago . Just look back a few posts on page 1 of this thread . I posted several pictures showing the new vs old 310w panels and how different they are .

It’s good to see that the newer 310W panels are performing better. The reports of panels gradually losing output or stopping completely during the hottest part of the day are concerning, especially when solar is important for camping off-grid.

I also think the temporary portable solar panel setup is worth mentioning. Having separate panels and a dedicated charge controller can be a useful backup when the roof system isn’t producing as expected, provided the connections and controller are compatible with the trailer’s electrical setup.

For those who had their panels replaced, have you noticed a consistent improvement in charging performance throughout the day, particularly in hot weather?

FYI….we had the EXACT same issue with our 2024 T@B 400 Boondock. 0 V from our rooftop panel. It just quit on us one camping trip…no warning…just died. Ended up taking it directly up to Nucamp and they replaced it under warranty. They agreed, completely dead. Took them one day to change it out for us. You can camp in their parking lot in some nice full hookups spots they have for just that purpose. Worked perfectly after the replacement!

Welp …….. update on the newest 310w panels . We now have 2 of the newest 310w panels on our 400 . Our "new" 310w front panel is holding strong at about 1 year old since installation . Unfortunately our "new" 310w rear panel is already failing at only about 3 months since replacement at NuCamp . Still working ok, but beginning to blister and show signs of possible hot spotting . Still waiting on Nucamp about replacing this panel that was just replaced in July .

These are the newest 310w replacement panels that have replaced the older defective 310w panels.

@BOatguy I have received 2 new panels this year. I believe they are old stock. The first one received tested at 200 Wats and that's not hooked to anything and angled at the sun at the proper angle. The second we received it 3 months later, it came in at 240 watts, the same scenario . That's not close to 300 watts. I paid for 310 watts . I have a 210 watt-folding solar panel rated for 210 watts and it produces 215 watts and that's at the end of 12 feet of extension wire. I wrote to Sunflare and they went out and bought testing equipment and found that there latest panel produce 300 watts right out of the box and that 200 and 240 was unacceptable . We are waiting for response from NuCamp.
