Photomom, twice to the Black Forest Star Party in September. I didn' t have the t@b then, I used my Kendricks tent. It has been years since then but I am planning to go this Spring. A few of my friends from Niagara go often. The skies are really dark there thats for sure, it's just jumping the border with all my gear that bothers me.

    Cheers

We were in Death Valley to see the rare wildflower "super bloom" which only happens every 10 years or so due to flooding. The wildflowers were beautiful, well worth the trip.

Cstur, great timing! Even if the floods weren't welcome for other reasons. I was camping around the U.S. and Mexico in the summer of 1986 after a barrage of rain and flooding hit TX and SW deserts. Seeing the wildflowers and the cacti bloom was an amazing treat!

Was there last year - funny how if you look down the flowers are really spaced out and you only see their extent when looking at the distance.

that's a tough question. (Edit: oops, I screwed up, this one's from 2014... I still like it! I'll try again)

And I thought it would be cold on our trip to Oregon last November!  I'm impressed!

Very nice PXL! I loved the areas we were in when the Indian Paintbrush were blooming (I can't rem where - it was 1986 - sorry. Vaguely rem AZ). Much like the bluebonnets in TX. Amazing to see full pastures of them at that perfect angle.

As much as I love flowers and how how petals follow mathematical formulas (and love the colors), I have to say my fav pict of all these AMAZING favs has to be rlenz's stars. I couldn't possibly take such a pict. I remember laying out in the desert in my younger days - no city lights interfering - and being blown away that there were COLORS in the night sky and the sheer amount of beauty there.

Keep these picts coming!! I love them all and am in awe of all of them, although NOT jealous of the snowy ones (Chan). ;) LOL.

Edit: Sorry this ended up 2 posts. Need.Caffeine.

This is one of my all-time favorite pictures of our Sophi@ we were camping in Ft. Lauderdale  for New Year's Eve 2015-2016. I thought this picture was so whimsical and looks almost out of fairytale book

Stayed a week at Wine Ridge RV Resort, Pahrump, NV. In the lap of luxury. Have to confess it was much better than the campgrounds actually in the Park.
