using 3-way Norcold in high elevations

Am planning a trip West and will be primarily traveling at high elevations (4000 to 8000ft). A card in the Fridge stated that the Norcold needs to have some change over done for elevations over 4000ft.
Am wondering if anyone has had this work done and is it necessary. Will appreciate your feedback, Jim

What year T@B do you have? I know my 2015 (bought fall 2014) had the high-altitude kit preinstalled.

LG includes the high altitude kit. I have had no issues when camping in high altitude, just make sure you have a sufficient battery charge.TaB2go said:Am planning a trip West and will be primarily traveling at high elevations (4000 to 8000ft). Have they always Jenn?

I don't believe they always installed the "high altitude kit"; we were worried it hadn't been installed when we bought ours 2 years ago (we live at 7,000ft and the dealer had no idea), and discovered it's now standard practice. So I'm guessing they've been doing it since early 2014.

Two round vents on the outside front of the T@B where the fridge is located means it has the high altitude kit, one means it doesn't. I think I saw that on this forum.

The two vents are there, but yet the card inside the fridge suggests it needs to be modified for high alt. above 4,000 ft.. Guess I'll call Lg, and see whats up.Its a '16 T@B max S . Going west in a couple months, don't want to wait till the last min.

If it's a 2016, it has it in spite of the tag.
